Irony: Bales vs. Hasan

Think about this!!!!!!!!!

After reading the headlines today about the US soldier who shot up Afghanistan civilians, I couldn’t help noticing an irony.  There is all this clamor to try this guy quickly and execute him, never mind his having suffered a traumatic brain injury.

Yet this Major Hasan, who shot up Fort Hood while screaming Allah Akbar, still hasn’t stood trial, and they are still debating whether he was insane, even with the clear evidence regarding his motive: slay as many infidels as possible.  So we have a guy in a war zone who cracks, and he must be executed immediately.

But this Muslim psychiatrist who was stateside in a nice safe office all day, murders 13, wounds 29 of our own guys, and then tries to argue the poor lad suffered post-traumatic stress syndrome… …from listening to real soldiers who had actual battle experience.

Two and a half years later, they still haven’t tried the murderous bastard.

Nobody is defending Bales here; we just see the media and government hypocrisy in dealing with a Muslim Terrorist vs an American Soldier.

This is not so much ironic, I think, as it is alarming that both of these devastating events are being used for political leverage, by our current administration, to pry apart the bonds of common sense and balance, that holds together, the fabric of our justice system. To cripple our stride toward fairness, will give untold power to those who claim to be able to replace our desire for equal justice, with the gratification of social justice. Pay-back is now hides behind the name of social justice.

  2. John McMillen says:

Every tragic story today is twisted by the left wing media orchestra, to fit a pre-written narrative …they all read from the same sheet music, written by the socialist communists in the democrat party. No one has to twist the arms of any main stream media organ…they’re very familiar with the narrative that always puts traditional America, or any American fighting for traditional America, on the villain side of every story.
Anyone of color or foreign allegiance perpetrating any act of lawlessness is automatically cast as the victim. This is a narrative and a world view as strong as any religion. They’ve been taught it since grade school, and received hyper-focused instruction on it in their journalism classes, (any and all college classes for that matter.)
All of them have an inner motivation to “make a difference.” Which translates into bringing down traditional America in order to make the rest of the world “more equal.”
