California Realtor Indoctrination Day

This Is Our Time!

This Is Our Moment!

We Can’t Do It Without You!

Join Us!

Does that sound like something out of the Obama Election Campaign or what?!?  The only thing that is missing is the ‘Yes We Can!’

The CAR (Calif. Association of Realtors) is hosting a legislative day up in Sacramento, CA on May 2nd. Only problem is there are ONLY liberal progressive legislators who have been asked to address the group.  See the flyer (pdf) below. I signed up for this event and wrote a scathing email. See below.  I plan on attending this event. I am calling on ALL conservative Realtors to attend this event and speak out against SB375 (stack and pack housing) and AB32 (Cap and Trade) and how this is destroying our liberties and private property rights. If you can’t attend please send an email to your local board or the CAR board! Do something please!!!! If you plan on going to SAC let me know so we can meet up when we get there.

Here’s an email I sent to the local Realtors board about the upcoming lobby day in Sacramento California, May 2nd. It would be nice if other realtors would speak out too!

“I am RSVPing for the lobby day in SAC. However I am a bit confused as to why there are NO conservative legislators that will be addressing us??? Every single one of these legislators is a liberal progressive. I am extremely disappointed to see that CAR and CCAR are so obviously biased! This is a disservice to your members! I for one am extremely offended that there is no balance in this meeting! As a realtor I pay huge dues to belong to the Realtors Association and this is NOT the kind of lobby day I would expect for my money! We realtors must be non-partisan or at least provided a balanced message.”

“I would like to see you invite some conservative members of the legislature to balance this day.”

(Above received via e-mail)

I’ll bet our writer won’t be receiving the CCAR Realtor of the Year award any time soon!

American Revolution – Part 2 – A Return To The Constitution

PRESS RELEASE

American Revolution – Part 2

A Return To The Constitution

In our continuing efforts to awaken the residents of Southeast Missouri / Southern Illinois to the freedom-limiting actions of our Local, State and Federal Governments and to urge Americans to reign in all levels of governments before it is too late, the members of the Cape County Tea Party (CCTP), will hold…

“The American Revolution – Part 2 – A Return To The Constitution”

…Rally in Capaha Park on April 14th, 2012 beginning at 11:00am.

This is a good old-fashioned (as it can be) Tea Party Rally!

  • At the top of each hour, speakers will address such subjects as:
  • The Constitution of the United States
  • The Constitution in Education
  • The Power of the States to Nullify Laws, Rules and Regulations enacted by the Federal Government
  • Solutions available to Americans in restraining our overreaching, often UN-constitutional government
  • Taxation
  • The Status of the Tea Party

The event will conclude around 4:00pm.

Q&A sessions will be included, and the CCTP will have forms available for folks to submit questions and comments they would like to have addressed.

There will be musical entertainment between speakers (as time allows) and food and drink available for purchase (Hot-Dogs, Hamburgers, Corn-Cogs, Funnel Cakes, Fried Oreos) provided in part by two SEMO Fair Vendors – Cooks and Hanners.

Other Local Businesses and Groups will provide information or their products for sale:

  • McCallisters
  • The Branding Iron
  • Elite Travel
  • The Crisis Food Source
  • The NRA
  • The Constitution Party

…and more.

We hope our neighbors will take this opportunity to enjoy a day in the park and get an update on our continuing work to reign in the out-of-control governments at all levels.  You may want to bring blankets and lawn chairs.

Presidential Gall

To my Democrat-voting friends,

Please.  Tell me how you vote for such a hypocrite.  Watch this man’s absolute insolence at 2:06.  Clearly he even has a problem with the number of kids the man has.  Will Chinese style eugenics be next on the list?

Thank you to the Don Smith Show for exposing this hypocrisy!

Late To The Party

Are you planning to vote on Tuesday?

Here is a link to a sample ballot that we found on Cape County’s site.

The sample ballot looks like it includes all the items that will be voted on in all the cities and school districts in the county.  Looks like pretty standard stuff except the Proposition A for Fruitland and Jackson.

Sadly, as involved as I am, I did not know that Jackson was preparing this ballot initiative.  I must have missed it as I read the last 12 issues of Jackson / Mayor Lohr’s monthly Town Crier.  I also don’t recall seeing it in the bi-annual mailer from the school district, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t there.

h/t http://jacksonkidsfirst.org

The first I noticed was when the signs appeared all over town to Keep Jackson Kids First.  I was disappointed that the site listed ‘class size’ as an aggravating factor but didn’t list any details regarding the students/classroom.

I’m curious about your thoughts on the issue.

My knee-jerk reaction is to question the need for a brand spanking new $16,000,000 building with all the bells and whistles.  There is a downturn in the economy if you haven’t heard – 8% unemployment / 15% real unemployment.

My children were at IC when the tornado hit.  Guess what.  They learned quite well in the trailers that were brought in to the site while the damaged building was replaced.  It is far past time in this country to be less concerned about how nice the building looks on the outside and stay focused on what happens inside.

How about we downsize this into a $5,000,000 project of modular / pre-fab buildings that can be easily expanded.  I’m betting with the quality teachers Jackson seems to attract, students will learn just fine inside those buildings no matter how they look on the outside.

But, alas, I’m too late to the party.
