On The Second Amendment

The second amendment has an intriguing history.  Various people and judges have given their opinion on what the second amendment precisely means.  Intense and fiery debates have divided citizens and political leaders.  Why is this amendment so dubious?  Some speculate the amendment means that an individual’s right to bear arms is the correct thinking.  Others believe it is only for service in a militia.  Some believe it is a civil right.

As the debates continue, maybe some common sense could be injected.  As long as people have lived in the United States and even before it was the United States, individuals have had guns.  People have hunted with guns, traveled with guns, protected their home with guns, and enjoyed just shooting their guns.  If the Second Amendment only applied to militias, why have we always, as a country, had guns?  Certainly, the gun itself has not picked itself up and shot someone.  No, the gun must be picked up, aimed, and the trigger squeezed by a human being.  Do we outlaw cars, knives, ropes, all drugs, alcohol, hammers, duct tape, pillows, and all devices that have killed people?  Alcohol kills more people than any other drug yet we can purchase it off most store shelves.  Hubert H. Humphrey sums up a great thought also, …”The right of the citizens to bear arms is just one guarantee against arbitrary government and one more safeguard against a tyranny which now appears remote in America, but which historically has proved to be always possible.”

Thomas Jefferson was a very remarkable man who started learning very early in life and never stopped:

• At 5, began studying under his cousin’s tutor
• At 9, studied Latin, Greek and French
• At 14, studied classical literature and additional languages

• He could write in Greek with one hand while writing the same in Latin with the other
• At 19, studied Law for 5 years starting under George Wythe
• At 23, started his own law practice
• At 25, was elected to the Virginia House of Burgesses
• At 31, wrote the widely circulated “Summary View of the Rights of British America” and retired from his law practice
• At 32, he was a delegate to the Second Continental Congress
• At 33, wrote the Declaration of Independence
• At 33, he took three years to revise Virginia’s legal code and wrote a Public Education bill and a statute for Religious Freedom
• At 36, was elected the second Governor of Virginia succeeding Patrick Henry
• At 40, served in Congress for two years
• At 41, was the American minister to France and negotiated commercial treaties with European nations along with Ben Franklin and John Adams
• At 46, served as the first Secretary of State under George Washington
• At 53, served as Vice President and was elected president of the American Philosophical Society
• At 55, drafted the Kentucky Resolutions and became the active head of Republican Party
• At 57, was elected the third president of the United States
• At 60, obtained the Louisiana Purchase doubling the nation’s size
• At 61, was elected to a second term as President
• At 65, retired to Monticello
• At 80, helped President Monroe shape the Monroe Doctrine
• At 81, almost single-handedly created the University of Virginia and served as its first president
• At 83, died on the 50th anniversary of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence along with John Adams.

Thomas Jefferson knew because he himself studied the previous failed attempts at government. He understood actual history, the nature of God, His laws and the nature of man. Jefferson really knew his stuff – a voice from the past to lead us in the future.

John F. Kennedy held a dinner in the White House for a group of the brightest minds in the nation at that time. He made this statement: “This is perhaps the assembly of the most intelligence ever to gather at one time in the White House with the exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone.”

Ending The IRS Is A Bipartisan Issue

Eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse should be a 100% unified effort of every senator and congressman/congresswoman….that is the basic responsibility and duty of anyone responsible for the use of our tax dollars. This should not be a partisan issue. This can be done and I will be looking for it to be down by any congress person or senator before they receive my vote.

In that vein, abolishing the IRS should be a priority. Again this should be a 100% unified effort. The way we collect the needed revenue to fund our government, should not be the corrupt evil system that the IRS has turned into. Neither political party should be able to influence those responsible for collecting our taxes to intimidate, harass, bully, and punish any taxpayer. Neither political party should have the power through the IRS to target American citizens who do not support their political philosophy.

 

Neither political party should have the power to punish individual American citizens, and shut down their businesses, or their ability to speak freely, organize, and form action groups to exercise their duty as an American citizen in our once free Republic.

You as a U.S. Senator, or a U.S. representative must assure that your ‘just’ powers are derived from the will of “THE PEOPLE.” Not from wealthy lobbyists, and big bundler campaign donors, or your national party bosses.

For this reason I strongly urge your support in abolishing the IRS Income Tax and all related IRS means of taxation and replace them with one simple Fair taxing method…House Bill HR-25/Senate Bill S-122.

This will restore American Jobs on American soil; restore the peoples trust in their government and those who desire to represent them honestly. It will restore individual freedom, and allow working Americans to keep their whole paycheck and pay their taxes directly and individually in the simplest, hassle free way possible.

It will restore our economy as major investments and large depositors come back within our United States boarders, and the huge flush of cash pumped into our economy from the new found increase in take home pay which raises spendable income dramatically.

It will restore America to her former greatness. That will enable many of these other issues and dilemmas to become manageable and solvable.

Ebola: Get Vocal

One interesting fact (can be easily substantiated by numerous historical records and books written about the 1918 flu pandemic):

In America, the outbreak was traced back to patient zero at a Kansas army training base who had traveled from an infected area of the world.  Quarters were extremely close at training camps and little was known at the time how the disease spread.  Troop trains from this base to other parts of the US spread the disease quickly.And right now we are sending troops who have received no useful training to the pandemic area and who have no real purpose of being there other than political.  Those troops will be returning to the US into largely the same kinds of close-quarters conditions as in 1918, albeit with a few more modern conveniences.

Since we quarantine possible Ebola victims in Dallas (those that came in contact with the dead guy) then quarantine the countries of origin and stop the spread period.

Every precaution must be taken for it is deadly. 500,000 to 675,000 died in the US and 50 to 100 million died worldwide during 1918 flu pandemic.

As of 2004 there were 940,000 cases of AIDS reported and to date 529,113 deaths in the US. In 2009, The U.S. ends travel ban on HIV-positive visitors and immigrants. The ban had been in place since 1987.

Ebola is much more virulent and is easier to contract then HIV and we have yet to have a travel ban and the Obama hack at the CDC is against it and why do we want deadly incurable disease carriers, including AIDS victims, into the US anyway?

Screening for symptoms of a deadly infectious disease that may not show up for weeks is not the answer. A travel ban to and from West Africa is required by anyone holding a visa to enter the US.

The only established fact about Ebola is that it in 1995 in the Democratic Republic of Congo, affecting 315 and killing 254. The next major outbreak occurred in Uganda in 2000, affecting 425 and killing 224; in this case the Sudan virus was found to be the ebola virus species responsible for the outbreak In 2003 there was an outbreak in the Republic of Congo that affected 143 and killed 128, a death rate of 90%, the highest to date.

In 2012, the Ministry of Health of the Democratic Republic of the Congo reported an outbreak of the Ebola-Bundibugyo variant in the eastern region. The WHO revealed that the virus had sickened 57 people and claimed 29 lives. The probable cause of the outbreak was tainted bush meat hunted by local villagers around the towns of Isiro and Viadana.

By 3 October 2014, 7,492 suspected cases and 3,439 deaths had been reported; however, the World Health Organization has said that these numbers may be vastly underestimated.

The WHO said, “The Ebola epidemic ravaging parts of West Africa is the most severe acute public health emergency seen in modern times. Never before in recorded history has a biosafety level four pathogen infected so many people so quickly, over such a broad geographical area, for so long.”

Use some horse sense, Ebola has mutated and is deadlier than ever!

Ebola: Drop What You’re Doing and Take Action

Tom Frieden, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, on Friday said restricting travel between the U.S. and West Africa would likely “backfire” and put Americans more at risk of contracting Ebola.

Appearing on MSNBC, Frieden was asked about potentially prohibiting air travel between the U.S. and West Africa, where the Ebola outbreak is most widespread. He said that such a restriction would likely be ineffective and would make it harder for health officials to root out the virus.

Tom Frieden is an Obama appointee so it goes without saying his loyalties lie with the extinction of the people in the lower tier Red states with Obama’s open border policy and he is just the idiot who advised Obama to say that the US need not worry, Ebola will not reach our shores.

He is spouting BS regarding stopping (sic commercial) flights to the US from affected countries. If the US wishes to help the affected countries the personnel can be transported via military aircraft with absolute security or continue to use charter flights. The Ebola threat threatens AMNESTY and the Open Borders proponents!

Frieden’s appearance on MSNBC was all politically motivated and a lie!!!!!
Stop all commercial flights and travelers from affected countries!!!!!!!!!!!!
Close down the southern border the route for human disease carriers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go visit any graveyard in Kansas or Missouri, and count the number of young children who died during the 1918 epidemic. You will be vary very shocked. And there exist mass graves of that time period as well. In the U.S., about 28% of the population suffered, and 500,000 to 675,000 died

Legislative Plunder

In the Federalist Papers Plunder is explained very clearly. It is taking from one person to give to another. Our never ending social programs are a perfect example of Plunder. The government has seen fit to take from the working taxpayer to give to the non-working disadvantaged individual and create more government agencies. This is not the vision our Founders had intended for this nation. We used to take care of our citizens through community, charity, churches, Salvation Army food pantries etc.

We should not be appropriating monies from working taxpayers to support any special interest. The programs are financially overwhelming and the agencies are too many to number. It is time to take a moment to realize what burden the working class is being asked to support.(NSA, EPA, DNR, FDA, OSHA, Homeland Security, FBI, IRS, Planned Parenthood, illegal immigrants placing burdens on all our facilities, aid to victims of crime, disabled programs, food stamps (SNAP), unemployment, housing, health care, welfare, utilities, Obama phones, drug programs, busing/taxis children to schools, computers for all students, free education to foreign students while raising our own children’s tuition. The list goes on. No one checks on outcomes of most of the programs. We need to audit and cut our losses.

Citizens are now we are having to protect themselves against NSA, EPA, DNR, Homeland Security and IRS. Government is too big and becoming too intrusive. We are supposed to be living in a free society not direct our lives to the plow of financial support of social programs. We are to lift people up not make dependent children out of them. Our country has become an entitlement society by the hand of legislators. When are we going to put a time limit on all subsidies?

48,000,000 billion tons of carbon is sequestered in the limestone(CaCO3) of planet earth.
1,000 billion tons of carbon is sequestered in coal and oil (0.002%)

Both formed over the last 200 million years. Think about it!

If you believe that burning the coal and oil on planet earth will return the earths temperature to that of the dinosaur (Jurassic) period or create any global warming at all, you are seriously delusional and operating from irrational fear.

Now, Ice ages occur about every 150,000 years and glaciers have covered the North American continent as far south as St. Louis, MO and Carbondale, IL.

Long Island was formed during the last ice age just ended 21,000 years ago.

The interglacial (warm) periods  last only about 30,000 years and that is something to be fearful of!  Bundle up buttercup!

The global warming agenda is a costly political power grab to take over (nationalize) the energy industry! But we all know that: Our utility bills have double because of it!

County Commissioner Will Take Jail — Denied Relgious Rights

America was not established with a “National” government.  We were established as a “REPUBLIC.”  If you want to learn more about how you can help save our Republic, please contact me.

Who and how many today have the correct understanding of the form of government as originally founded, and how far we’ve strayed from that original framework? How many understand our responsibilities we as citizens equally share for preserving our individual liberty? Who has a correct understanding our State constitution as well as our U.S. Constitution? Who has a correct account of our history as a nation?  If we remain quiet under the pervasive misconceptions that exists today of the constitutional authority of federal judges, how can we remain free?  If you don’t know when federal judges are overstepping their bounds, how can you resist? How many truly understand the scope and legitimacy that “THE PEOPLE” hold as the last line of defense of our liberty? How many understand that in “THE PEOPLE” resides the ultimate power over all those who have abused their power over us, and that we can resist and change the course we are going?

Lethargy, and Apathy are the forerunner of death to a REPUBLIC and individual liberty. …How can we preserve our liberties,if we remain uninformed?

IT IS THE PEOPLE IN A REPUBLIC THAT HAVE THE FINAL SAY! BUT THEY MUST BE AN INFORMED AND KEENLY ALERT PEOPLE FOR THIS TO HAPPEN.

Why Are You So Political?

My wife and others repeatedly question me asking, “Why are you so ‘Political’?” … this is the great disconnect in America today.I ask them, “Why do you call it ‘being Political?'” …like I should do anything and everything to avoid that label.

I ask them, “Why do you call it ‘being political?'”

I call it being a Christian American citizen.

Benjamin Franklin and all the noted founders told us they were giving us a government of “Freedom and Liberty”, but it would be up US (that’s YOU, that’s ME) “the American Citizen” to KEEP IT – not the politician, not the Governor, not the president.

If “WE” are not informed and don’t stay informed, we are headed to a destination in America that is shown in the clip below from Marco Rubio.  On the Senate floor, Rubio reminds us that we aredangerously close to the last gasps of life for Freedom and Liberty in America.  And this current form of government is working 24/7 to transform us into the nation that is shown here in this short clip.

I am just one man. I can’t do everything, but I can do something — at least one thing.  And it is my duty as a Christian and an American Citizen to do ‘something’.  Whatever I can do, I must do, and by the will and power of God, I will do.

Fair Tax Information For Your Congressman

Erick, I was told you are the legislative aid on Taxes to my Representative, Jason Smith.

I am Vice-Chair of the Scott County Missouri Republican Committee.  I got acquainted with Jason when he was running for the republican 8th district nomination.  I spoke to him about taxes during the course of that time, but told him I wouldn’t bug him about it during that special election process.  I’ve waited until Jason got his feet on the ground in D C as I’m sure there has been a lot of stress in getting settled in, and getting acquainted with the political landscape there.

I’m sure that Jason agrees that the current tax code is a nightmare and has to be reformed.  I’m convinced it must be replaced entirely. Please find attached my remarks explaining why the IRS Income tax code is an anti-American, anti-republic, anti-individual, anti-capitalist, anti-business bureaucracy that has grown into a wholly owned anti-conservative subsidiary solely devoted to and controlled by the left wing of the socialist democrat party. I hope you will take the time to read it fully and thoughtfully.

The MO-8th deserves fair treatment and serious consideration of the Fairtax. If you and our Representative Jason Smith honestly believe the ‘income tax’ is a more American values form of taxation over the Fairtax, then we deserve an honest and open explanation of why you think so,  backed up and demonstrated with documented evidence, not mere political rhetoric.

I will follow up with a phone call to you personally Friday 9-06-13 to see if you’ve had a chance to review any of the material and possibly have questions I can assist you with.
