It is with a heavy heart and sorrow that we receive the news the death of Andrew Breitbart. Breitbart, a mere 43 years old, was a passionate vanguard for truth, conservatism, libertarianism and the Tea Party.
From Wikipedia…
- Breitbart often appeared as a speaker at Tea Party movement events across the U.S. For example, Breitbart was a keynote speaker at the first National Tea Party Convention at Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville on February 6, 2010.[20]
- Breitbart launched a number of websites, including Breitbart.com,[24] BigHollywood.com,[25] BigGovernment.com,[26] BigJournalism.com,[27] and BigPeace.com.[28]
- Breitbart was married to Susannah Bean, the daughter of actor Orson Bean, and had four children
I had the occasion to discuss baseball with Breitbart at Mike Shannon’s restaurant last summer during the Smart Girls Summit. He told me, “…baseball is the only TV I watch.” He watched any game he could get his eyes on… …not just his favorites. “Otherwise, TV is a waste.” Unfortunately, the name of his favorite team escapes me.

Brietbart will be sorely missed in our movement, and his passing will become a clarion call for us to step up and fill the void left by his absence.
Today we pray for his wife, children, friends, and family.
God Bless.
