Ending The IRS Is A Bipartisan Issue

By John McMillen

Eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse should be a 100% unified effort of every senator and congressman/congresswoman….that is the basic responsibility and duty of anyone responsible for the use of our tax dollars. This should not be a partisan issue. This can be done and I will be looking for it to be down by any congress person or senator before they receive my vote.

In that vein, abolishing the IRS should be a priority. Again this should be a 100% unified effort. The way we collect the needed revenue to fund our government, should not be the corrupt evil system that the IRS has turned into. Neither political party should be able to influence those responsible for collecting our taxes to intimidate, harass, bully, and punish any taxpayer. Neither political party should have the power through the IRS to target American citizens who do not support their political philosophy.

Neither political party should have the power to punish individual American citizens, and shut down their businesses, or their ability to speak freely, organize, and form action groups to exercise their duty as an American citizen in our once free Republic.

You as a U.S. Senator, or a U.S. representative must assure that your ‘just’ powers are derived from the will of “THE PEOPLE.” Not from wealthy lobbyists, and big bundler campaign donors, or your national party bosses.

For this reason I strongly urge your support in abolishing the IRS Income Tax and all related IRS means of taxation and replace them with one simple Fair taxing method…House Bill HR-25/Senate Bill S-122.

This will restore American Jobs on American soil; restore the peoples trust in their government and those who desire to represent them honestly. It will restore individual freedom, and allow working Americans to keep their whole paycheck and pay their taxes directly and individually in the simplest, hassle free way possible.

It will restore our economy as major investments and large depositors come back within our United States boarders, and the huge flush of cash pumped into our economy from the new found increase in take home pay which raises spendable income dramatically.

It will restore America to her former greatness. That will enable many of these other issues and dilemmas to become manageable and solvable.

Private Property / Income Tax / Fair Tax

John McMillen, of Sikeston, MO, posted the following to Jason Smith’s Facebook timeline.  It’s GREAT stuff!FairTax-AnotherDay[1]

The American system of private property ownership is the most important guaranty of freedom. This was the corner stone on which our founders built our “Bill of Rights” and our “Constitution.”

When personal property rights are respected, honored, and preserved, not only is it a guarantor of Freedom to those who own property, but also for those who do not. Each person is free to move from place to place for a better opportunity, and with no government confiscation of the wealth when individuals are free to produce, more real opportunities are created by the success of others. This principle applies right down to a person’s paycheck.

The best way for government to put more money in people’s wallets is for government to leave it there in the first place. This devilish system developed in America using the IRS INCOME TAX as the Mother Ship of Socialism has brought America’s economy and societal morays to its knees.

A good model to observe was adopted in a land of total communist rule by the Soviets in the late 1980s. It is a good example of evidence as to the original American system’s effects for increased production and industriousness voluntarily exercised among the people, without government coercion.

In that example under ‘Perestroika’ (Restructuring) and ‘Glasnost’ (Transparency) Russian citizens were allowed to keep the wealth they created by raising vegetables on their own garden plots to sell and trade however they wished, and were allowed to keep 100% of the proceeds. Although these individual garden plots composed only about 2% of the agricultural lands in the Soviet Union, they produced 25% of the food!

When Soviets kept the wealth they pe rsonally created individually, they produced almost 16 times more than when it was forced from them by government order (taxation) at gunpoint!

The Fairtax Bill HR-25 is available now with 65 cosponsors. 3 of Missouri’s U.S. Representatives are cosponsors of this Bill. Jason, I hope you will study this bill closely and consider becoming a cosponsor as well. I hope you will seek council with Rob Woodall, Georgia, Sponsor of HR-25, and Ann Wagoner who just signed on as cosponsor last week for their insights.

Obama’s IRS Goons Now Attacking Tea Party

Reported on Breitbart’s Big Government, the IRS, at the behest of Democrat Senators, is now investigating such operations as ACORN, MORE, Project Vote, Media Matters, George Soros, and Warren Buffett to expose the voter fraud and tax evasion of those organizations.

Wait. No. They’re investigating local Tea Party organizations inquiring on donors’ names, donation amounts, office-seeking Tea Party leaders, and more:

In January and February of this year, the Internal Revenue Service began sending out letters to various local Tea Parties across the country. Mailed from the same Cincinnati, Ohio IRS office, these letters have reached Tea Parties in Virginia, Hawaii, Ohio, and Texas (we are hearing of more daily). There are several common threads to these letters: all are requesting more information from these independent Tea Parties in regard to their nonprofit 501(c)(4) applications (for this type of nonprofit, donations are not deductible). While some of the requests are reasonable, much of them are strikingly onerous and, dare I say, Orwellian in nature.

What are local Tea Partiers to think with requests like “Please identify your volunteers” or “are there board members or officers who have run or will run for office (including relatives)”? What possible reason would the IRS have for Tea Parties to “name your donors” when said donations are non-deductible? These are just a few of the questions asked by the IRS in these letters, and one cannot help but suspect an intrinsic threat encompassing all these demands.

The other question is the timing of these IRS letters requesting reams of copies and hundreds of hours of work and potentially thousands of dollars in accounting/legal fees (all due in two weeks). Some of these Tea Party groups have not received anything concerning their nonprofit status since 2010 prior to these letters.

These documents are further undermined by a letter sent to the IRS Commissioner Shulman. Signed by six Senators, it requests that the commissioner investigate 501(c)(4) groups to determine whether they are engaging in substantial campaign activity, including opposition to any candidate. Who signed this letter? Senators Schumer, Franken, Udall, Shaheen, Whitehouse, Merkley and Bennet — all Democrats.

Could it be that these Senators want the IRS to investigate the nonprofit status of Media Matters and its coordinated political activity with the White House? Or perhaps they are concerned with nonprofit ACORN groups’ record of voter fraud, and other previous campaign abuses including alleged close ties with President Obama’s Project Vote? No, when these Senators sent this letter to the IRS commissioner, the message would be very clear. The 501(c)(4) groups they want investigated are not those with Democratic liberal ties.
